Our Story

From Web Hosting to Custom WordPress Development

Back in 2007, we started MJ Internet Services in Adelaide to help Australian businesses get online with reliable web hosting. Most of our early clients were local Adelaide businesses who needed someone they could actually call when things went wrong.

The hosting side ran well, but we kept noticing the same thing. Clients would sign up with decent hosting and then point a slow, bloated website at it. Pages took 5 or 6 seconds to load. Contact forms didn't work properly. The sites were built with whatever page builder was popular that year, and they'd break every time WordPress pushed an update.

So we started fixing them. Then rebuilding them. Then building new ones from scratch. Over time, the web design and development side of the business grew into something bigger than the hosting. That's where Dizzi Digital came from.

We've built sites for tradies, startups, non-profits, cleaning companies, game studios, and professional services firms. Some in Sydney, some interstate, some overseas. The common thread is they all wanted a site that loaded fast, ranked well, and didn't fall apart six months later. We've been doing this long enough to know what works and, more importantly, what doesn't. We share what we've learned on our blog.

Our Approach

Custom Code. Premium Hosting. No Bloat.

Most agencies install Elementor or Divi and call it a day. The site looks fine on the surface, but underneath it's hundreds of unnecessary scripts, bloated CSS files, and nested divs that slow everything down. Then you're stuck with a site that breaks every time WordPress updates.

We take a different approach. We custom-code your main pages in a clean child theme. You still get WordPress for easy editing, adding blog posts, and managing content, but without the page builder overhead. The result is a site that's 10 to 20 times lighter than a typical agency build.

On the hosting side, we run our own managed WordPress servers with Cloudflare's global CDN in front. Your site gets served from the nearest edge location to each visitor, whether they're in Parramatta or Perth. Combined with the lightweight code, the result is consistently fast load times.

We're based in Sydney and have worked with businesses across the CBD, Inner West, North Shore, Sutherland Shire, and Western Sydney including Parramatta and Penrith. We know the local market and we understand what Australian businesses need from their websites.

That said, most of our work happens over video calls and screen shares. We've delivered projects for clients in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and internationally.
